Juliene Lemon, LMHC

Juliene (Julie) Lemon of Cedar Rapids Therapy, PLLC is a Licensed Mental Health Counselor with over a decade of individual and family counseling experience. Julie has worked with clients of all ages and has assisted clients in dealing with many mental health issues. Julie particularly enjoys working on self-esteem issues with adolescents and marital issues with couples. Julie’s other areas of interest include: spirituality, depression, anxiety, grief, and stress management.

Julie married Terry Lemon on November 16, 1985 and they have three adult children: Whitney, Brooke and Tyler. Julie acquired her Bachelor’s degree in Humanities – Secondary Education/English from Penn State University in 1992 and her Master’s Degree in Education/Guidance and Counseling from Northwest Missouri State University in 1999. Julie was granted Licensure as a Mental Health Counselor in May of 2008: License number 001100.

Fee and Session Information
  • Initial assessment fee is $175.
  • Subsequent sessions are $150 for 60 minutes, $110 for 45 minutes and $90 for 30 minutes.
  • Public Speaking fees are $150 per hour plus prep time and any applicable travel fees.
Payment Options
  • Julie is able to take most major insurances including Wellmark BCBS, United Healthcare, Midland’s Choice, and Magellan.
  • Julie is also an Employee Assistance Plan Provider for Carebridge and Value Options.
  • Private pay is also accepted.
  • If you have questions regarding your insurance or EAP coverage you will need to call prior to the first session to clarify benefits directly with your insurance/EAP provider. Session fees will be due at the time of service. For your convenience, you may pay with credit or debit card (or with a PayPal account) through PayPal at this link.
